Hirst 4th with KWS-NARC at Antioch
6/6/17- Roth Motorsports and driver Kyle Hirst competed in Round #6 with the KWS-NARC Fujitsu Sprint Car Racing Series on Saturday night at Antioch Speedway.
Starting the evening with a 5th place qualifying effort, placed the Roth Enterprises/HR Livestock Transportation on the outside front row of Heat #1. Hirst went on to win his heat over Cory Eliason and teammate Giovanni Scelzi.
Drawing a #1 for the Dash, Hirst again went on to win the event placing his #83 machine on the pole for the 30-Lap A-Main Event.
As the green flag flew for the feature event, Hirst would accelerate too quickly and “wheelie”, causing him to fall back to third. On a restart after a caution, Hirst fell back to fourth as Eliason completed a pass off of turn 2. Hirst maintained fourth place throughout the remaining laps until the checkered flag waved.
With a fourth place finish, Hirst gained one position in the KWS-NARC points championship, moving up to 5th place overall.
ON TAP: Hirst and the Roth Motorsports team will be racing Friday night at Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, CA and Saturday night at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, CA with the King of the West-NARC Fujitsu Racing Series.
