Hirst Survives Wild Hanford Start
9/4/17- Kyle Hirst survived a near catastrophe on Saturday night at Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford California, by making a miraculous save on the start of the 30-Lap feature event.
Hirst started his evening off with a second place qualifying effort and a fourth place heat race finish. With his transfer in the heat, Hirst lined up his HR Livestock/Roth Investments entry in the sixth starting spot in the dash event and went on to finish fourth.
Starting on the outside of Row #2, Hirst would go to the top of turns 1 & 2 and narrowly escaped a turn-over but encountered a LR flat tire. The Roth Motorsports team went to work making the repairs which allowed Hirst to rejoin the field. Starting last, Hirst would make his trek forward as he maneuvered through traffic for 30 laps where he was credited with a sixth place finish.
The Roth Motorsports team would like to thank Roth Enterprises, HR Livestock Transportation, Roth Investments, 3H Cattle, FK Rod Ends, Weld Wheels, Brown & Miller Racing Solutions, Kent Performance and Astro Titanium for their support in 2017.
ON TAP: Hirst and the Roth Motorsports team will be racing Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, CA.
